Luck. Apple+TV first animated movie.

Post by Ojisama » 14 Jul 2022, 13:34

Following their partnership with Skydance Animation, Luck is the first of a string of animated features coming to Apple+. Still to come is Spellbound, and The search for WondLa, an animated series.

The film has a all-star lineup. Jane Fonda, Whoopie Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Colin O'Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, and Adelynn Spoon.

The movie follows the unluckiest girl in the world, Sam Greenfield (Eva Noblezada), as she discovers the magical "Land of Luck," where good luck flows freely. Hoping to bring home some good luck for her best friend, Sam discovers the only ones allowed in the Land of Luck are creatures, and she must unite with them in order to succeed. However, Sam encounters some problems along the way, as she learns they must maintain the balance between good luck and bad luck on this magical planet.

There's a black cat. Lol I've never considered black cats unlucky.

I want to watch this. I'ma have to activate Apple+ I suppose. Although it seems better suited for March.
