[Updated] Super Mario Bros Movie.

Nintendo has announced that the Super Mario Bros movie intended for release in December 2022 has been pushed back to April 2023.

It will debut in North America on April 7 before arriving in Japan on April 28.

Chris Pratt will lead Super Mario Bros. as Mario himself, while Charlie Day is set to voice his brother Luigi. The rest of the cast is comprised of those like Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Fred Armisen, and Seth Rogen. Plot details are still being kept under wraps.

Instead, it now looks like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish will be filling that December slot, facing off against Avatar 2 and Shazam: Fury of the Gods

From what i've seen it's just because he keeps getting cast in roles people don't think he suits
Kinda like how people started hating James Corden just for being everywhere

This movie will probably suck, although to be fair almost anything would be an improvement on the one starring the late Bob Hoskins.

Within about 6 months of it being on at the Cinema, it'll possibly end up on Netflix.

Other than that, no LEGAL streaming.

For me it's the voice acting of the first two trailers that's putting me off a bit, I miss a bit of.. dunno, enthusiasm I'd expect of Mario.
But then again, I saw a mini trailer this week, and there it sounded just fine. So let's see what the final result will be.

That being said, I was worried about this movie but now look forward to it. Looks like it's going to be a nice bit of entertainment for me.

It be something to watch, I think it'll be like the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. People think it will be terrible and then it'll be received OK. I do like the animation and they didn't go live-action.

I'm still disappointed in Toads voice though, wheres my screamer!

I never thought that Sonic looked interesting ( the movies). This does for me. But I have always felt that Nintendo > Sega.

I thought the original Sonic movie sucked, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sequel, usually sequels tend not to be as good as the first one.
