Personaly I'm ready for the festive season

I'm ready, but also not ready It is coming way too quickly!!

Oh so ready.

Tree is up and decorated. Lights up outside. Lights in the windows. All our usual ornaments and pictures have been packed away to be replaced with Christmas ones. We eat off Xmas plates. Drink Xmas Tea and Xmas coffee blends from Xmas cups. Sleep on/in Xmas sheets.

Holding back on wearing Xmas clothing until the start of December (although I did wear an Xmas face mask at the weekend)

Meh. Couldn't care less about it really.

Aye, 'tis time to decorate the tree this weekend.

I don't start Christmas til the day after Thanksgiving. But it is my favorite, fo sho!

My dad died 2 years ago on Christmas Eve, so as nice as the occasion is, it's going to be f**king hard as I miss him dearly ;__;

It was a while ago now, but my mum had a major stroke about 2 weeks before Christmas. She was supposed to be coming and staying with us through the holiday period. That year was quite difficult for us. Whilst she was in hospital, my sister closed down and locked up the house. When mum finally passed, we found her Christmas presents still wrapped in the front room ready for when we were supposed to pick her up.

My cat Beex died on the 12th, December. But Christmas is still my favorite.

got some very sad anniversaries this year, but looking forward to this year. new start

Tree was put up in work this morning, at home last Sunday and my wfh desk on 6th November. I wore a Christmas Jumper last weekend when seeing a friend for a Catch Up. I'm not expecting much on the day but I'm still excited for it.
