I'm more than happy to see the Christmas nonsense gone this year. Now I can experience a true December and not "Christember" that replaces it every year since Christmas has gone from one day to a whole month (or even more) of shallow materialistic rubbish. Call me The Grinch or whatever but it is refreshing to have a year without comericialist capitalistic bastardisation of what we currently call Christmas today. A "religious" holiday that we collectively celabrate despite the rise of secularism. Thank heavens Christmas is pretty much cancelled this year. I needed the break. Forget about Christmas, just enjoy the winter season.
WE GOT OUR DECEMBERS BACK

I use Christmas less an opportunity to buy random shit for family and friends, and more of an experience where I can pick out the perfect gifts for them instead. Commercialism dosen't have to be a bad thing, you can still show someone that you know, love, and cherish them through the perfect gift.

Don't worry, it'll be back again next year.
Mark my words
They will be gone
You'll see them playing games, my dear
They've moved along
Cause one day in the afterlife
We'll meet again
