The very first forum I ever used was the Anime Cafe forum, back in the early 2000s. That forum is long gone, but my memories remain. Theh page is still up though. This is what I'm talking about. https://www.abcb.com/index.htm
Did anyone on this page ever use that forum?

Yes it was the first forum I ever used and stayed a member of.
I was Ikit Claw.
I was Ikit Claw.
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

I do remember you, in fact as soon as I saw the name a few days ago I thought 'I knew someone called that from Anime Cafe'. I couldn't be certain that it was you of course because I didn't know if the name was a reference to something. But yeah I do remember you.
Other names I remember are Hyzumerca (some weird spelling)
Naru Narusegawa
Blood Soaked Ronin
Badnerd666
I remember that all the forum avatars were from fruits basket which were set at the number of posts until you got to a certain post level after which you were allowed to upload your own!
I remember there was a big contingent from Utah, particularly salt lake city because I think there were a fair few mormons in the community.
I joined around the time when I was doing exams so about 2000, 2001. I made hundreds of posts but I never really became firm friends with anyone because I'm a bit of an acquired taste and after a while I fell out with a large proportion of the people so I just moved on.
Hope things are going well for you!

I wish I knewn what happened to Blood Soaked Ronin. I wish the Cafe forum was still up. Don't get me wrong, mods and admins, Anime League is a great forum, but I still have nostalgia.

It's a shame it wasn't around a few years longer.
Back then the only way to stay in contact was via swapping email. So nobody really kept in contact.
Then we entered a golden age (2007 or so) where we were all connected but at a distance.
Then now when google tries to connect different groups of people you know to other groups of people.....
