Cleaning your skateboard backpack is a breeze with five simple steps.

Probably, there would be some skaters not wanting or delaying to wash their skateboard backpack as they thought that is onerous work. Then one day, when they take it out of their cabinet, you would be screaming out when they see it is covered with a thick layer of dust. Apparently, that is the time you have to clean your backpack carefully and sort out the necessary items. This could contribute to motivating you to get back to skating than other ways as you feel that everything to prepare for the upcoming skating session is already settled and you have all the necessary things to carry.

In this post, I will provide you with five simple steps, so have a deep read, relax, and get ready to get down to clean your skateboard backpack immediately.

For those who intend to buy a new backpack, I suggest you take a look at SkateAdvisors for further reviews.

1. Empty It Out

The very first step is to remove everything contained in your backpack. Also, remember to check out at even small pockets and secluded compartments and spread all things on the ground.
This can somehow give you a fresh onset and a sense of organization as you can not view everything put in your backpack before; therefore you will not know what things you actually need to carry with you when going for a skating session.

2. Clean/Sanitize the backpack.

You can miss this step as your backpack includes everything. However, it is really grimy and it can even stink. That could be the reason why sometimes you feel that your skateboard has an unpleasant smell and you cannot get rid of it at all. You can follow the way of caring instructed by the brand of just using the towel with germicide to rub your bag and then dry it. A note for you before doing it is to carefully check the instruction tag on your bag given by the brand in order not to unintentionally destroy your backpack.

3. Sort Items

Now it is time to get back to loads of items that are removed from your bag earlier. This is also when you have to think of skating sessions you had before to determine which things you did take with you to the skate spot and which one is essential for you during practice time. If you have no idea which one is really essential for a skater, then you can check it out at SkateAdvisors. Also, you need to think of items that are necessary to protect your skate after you skate.

These things will be classified in the category of essentials. After that, let's take the rest of the stuff into consideration. Ask yourself whether there are some items that you do not really use on a regular basis as they might be more proper for outdoor activities. Then you could put in the category of “nice to have”. The rest of your stuff will be divided into two categories: disused items and not your possession. Of course for disused items, you can go ahead to throw it but for other personal things such as make-up stuff, cosmetics or bands, and so on, you should put it in other places, no longer in your skate bag.

4. Wash Anything That Needs It

If your gloves, protective pads, and other skateboard accessories were not washed for a long time, then you should gather all and wash at the same time because they can have odious smells. Once again, do not forget to read the washing instruction on the tag for important notes and warnings. For example, you should never put your soakers in the dryer, or else it will be extremely stretchy. Or for insoles of skateboard shoes, you should do the washing by hand, using the soap, and make sure it is totally dry prior to placing them into your shoes again.

5. Get Organized

Finally, we reach the final step which is reorganizing your skate bag. Now there are only the categories of essentials and nice - to - have. For the essential items, you had better put them in pockets that allow you to take it out easily as you have to use them many times during the skating sessions. For small things, it is better to put them in zip pockets so that they will not be dropped from your bag.

We have done to give you five easy steps to carry out washing your skate bag. Now it is your duty to get down to it. And do not forget to check out other useful skateboarding posts in SkateAdvisors. Read an introduction to skateadvisors at: https://skateadvisors.com/about-us

The classic quarter pounder is fine but replace the cheese with sharp cheddar.
