So seeing as i've been really excited about cooking lately I decided to make a thread for it!

What are some of your favourite recipes to make? So far i've mostly been making pasta and rice dishes, I think my favourite would be the cheesy pasta bake I did. But i'm looking to start branching out, some of the main recipes i'm excited to try are quiche lorraine, homemade pies and hotpots!

What are your favourite recipes to cook? :)

Where's the lamb SAUUUUUUCE!!!

I looooooove chicken katsu curry! You can get jars of it with the spice so it's super easy and quick to make! just gotta fry some tasty breaded chicken and you've got yourself a nice katsu curry :3 can't go wrong with some rice on the side!

(would also highly recommend Yakinori on Park Street if you're ever in Bristol! They do an ammmmazing Chicken Katsu Curry bento)

One of my favorite dishes are ... Tteokbokki

Which in Korean it’s basically spicy rice cake.

It’s chewy rice cakes (not like the bland crumbly Quaker rice cakes), with spicy Korean sauce, tossed with green onions, fish cake, onions, a hard boiled egg, and sometimes made with cheese!

At the moment i'm really into stews and casseroles. I know it's summer and the weather is warming up but occasionally i like to just put together a stew the night before i want it, put it on before i leave for work and come home to a nice warm and filling meal that if i make enough of and can freeze and eat again later in the week. My favourite one to do is a Pork belly stew. I take normal pork belly slices. cut the crackling part off and then cube it, throw it in the slow cooker with a few different vegetables and a pork stock cube(or two) and voila. Cooking it in the slow cooker the fat from the belly slice cubes kinda dissolves into the water and makes for a really rich gravy. It also gives me an excuse to make dumplings.

I like baking cakes. From scratch or boxed idc. The real secret is how much sprinkles you put.

The correct amount of sprinkles is all of them... in the bin... then set the bin on fire cause sprinkles don't belong on food...

I've recently been trying to figure out how one makes cheese sauce. I'm pretty close, it doesn't taste cheesy enough and adding more cheese makes it too thick... so I need better cheese...
