Hi all! I have a good question for you What are you all doing for lockdown? I know I've been playing A LOT of the new Animal Crossing Game, and thinking about going back to games/anime I haven't played/watched yet
What I usually do since I stayed at home a lot already which is play games. The difference since this COVID-19 mess is now I'm worried about my friends and parents when they have to go out for stuff like groceries. :/
I've been staying in for ages watching TV anyway, so more of the same. Thinking of ordering a video game.
“The nation that neglects social inequality, mischievously increases military budgets, and then uses its power internally to suppress the citizens on the pretext of invasion by an external enemy is on the road to extinction.”
Yang Wen-Li.
I have been working from home a fair bit in the last 7 weeks which was hard in the first few days. I started to (somewhat) use Twitch again and have been chatting a lot more with my friends since then
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.
Working mainly, being one of them 'essential' peoples....
Otherwise a lot of critter snuggling, playing games...FFXIV mostly, though did FINALLY get to play Detroit Become Human now it on PC. Already done like at least 3 play through's on that and managed to apparently get the 'good/best' ending on the 3rd run...(all main characters and stuff survived/alive, best outcomes for each main person, got to like friend/companion/lover/family with most of the others...
Watching more Netflix, Viki and Disney+ then probably healthy....
I work big chain retail so I get to be called "Essential" and keep working while people laid off are making more than me on unemployment. Oh, but hey, my company totally made it up to us with a couple $300 bonuses a few months apart and by telling the media that we "Want to serve" and don't need hazard pay I'm high risk, but have bills to pay so yeah.
That said, life has been pretty much normal for me. Work, come home, sit on the computer and/or play video games, go to sleep too late, and repeat...
