In a jam, coffee filters work for toilet paper.

Oh but don't flush them.

Today's my first day, and it just happened to be the same day I got my medication top up at the hospital, so I'm super not good at the moment due to the medication being delayed a week and the effects it's having on me, and I'm also on lock down for 3 months from today cause the medication has placed me into a high risk category to catch an infection x.x

Thanks for what you’re doing Elgood.

I greatly appreciate those still doing customer service despite the risks and dealing with the desperation of their customers.

That's uncalled for. Like Lord Myne said you are the reasons people are able to get essentials right now.

My dad manages a refrigeration buisness, so all the engineers are looking after the fridges and such in supermarkets and they are all panicking at the moment. My dad keeps telling them they are helping and are key workers.

As I’m self employed, I’m still awaiting what measures they are bringing out to help that catergory.

But on the positive side, it gives me time to catch up with everything, and to maybe get my TEFL certificate.

And I agree, the abuse retailers are getting is disgusting. As a former retail manager I sympathise with you greatly. And I’m disgusted at some of the abuse the NHS are getting from people as well. People need to grow up. Now’s the time for everyone to unite together.

And rant over...

Well no visitors is a good thing right now. But I had regular visitors when I lived in a basement.

Disney+ is a life saver. But also agree with H03nn89 gives a chance to focus on things we didn't have time for or couldn't find the time for.

I don't think I could give any less of a shit about it.
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."

Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918

So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

Oh no, I need to stay at home with minimal social interaction. What ever will I do?
