Are you able to distinguish between a human vocalist and a voice synthesis program?

Hah! Trick question. They were all synthesized.

As for the quiz I got 16 correct. Some of the sound clips were either form a bad section or not long enough. Because all the voices are synthesized you have to listen for the very subtle differences in the voices like repeating voice defects, uniform breathing, enunciation of words, pitch peaks, etc.
Of course it would be much easier to identify them with a sound analysis software, but not always necessary.

But yeah, autotune and stuff. They were modified.

Yeah, thats the thing I meant. They're like software tuned because people can't sing... or everyone just wants to sound identical.... I have no idea why people ruin their voices by doing that unnatural computerized voice thing, it sounds terrible.

Btw, Far I remember, All voices of 1st Vocaloid program where recorded from real signers. Just sayin all the "KANAS" Sounds.
