Some time ago I thought about the following thing.

What's better? Having a long and boring life as a full slave (no freedom at all, all decisions are made by someone else) or having a short (let's assume it's certain that it will be short) and dangerous life as a free person?

This question is similar to the old question of sea piracy.

Certainly life is important and freedom is also important.

But what would you choose? How much of your life is your freedom worth?

If there are only two options available, which one would you choose?

I think it's a really difficult question and also somewhat relevant to "normal life", and I had many different thoughts. But what are yours? I don't want to debate, I just want to listen to your opinions.

If I'm being mistreated then yeah it's a pirates life for me.

No, the first person who posts the name in this thread owns it.

But to make it more just, the battle starts exactly at 19:00 tomorrow (12th of March, UK time).

And the battle ends on 25th of March at 19:00 UK time.
