How Much do you depend on the internet in your daily life?

A little while ago i had a situation where our internet was temporarily suspended and I was offline for a couple days. I felt like I'd been cut off from the world and isolated because the internet is my primary way to communicate. It is also my primary way to entertain myself (sad I know)
and that got me to thinking, just how much do we depend on the internet and how does it make us feel when it's not there (because of unforeseen circumstances)?

I genuinely cannot live without the internet now
When I first went to Japan we didn't bother with a dongle or SIM so we went without internet, and it's the stupid things like not being able to use google maps! We got so lost that time
But yeah even at home I use the internet for most of my watching.

Well I spend most of my time on the internet and I need it work for. I have gone without for 3 months and it wasn't really an issue, I just felt very out of the loop when I got back on.

I utilize the internet in my daily life but if I lost it, I have other alternatives to use for most things I use the internet for. One thing I could no longer do is visit and post on AL.

when i was a kid there was no internet , but since we have it now and it does have an issue it reminds me of how old i am then i am cranky
the rest of the day lol. but i have to say it is handy too have and you can tell when things go wrong also seeing how the world goes upside down
when the internet goes off. though im not to dependent on it i know it is harder to get up in the morning with out the techno chicken dance song
that i found on the internet. cant say i would wake up like i do in the morning with out that song. i did not know the song existed without the internet.

I'd eventually get used to it. But I would suck at first. I would mostly miss being able to look up info about everything.

100% need for games and others. But I can live fine without it. Forgot my phone home when I was away for 3 days, I didnt even noticed I didnt have it.

We don't have cable, so internet for streaming is our only entertainment. Luckily we haven't had to deal with any outages yet. Not sure what we'd do if it happened, with everything closing down here.

Yeah and now the Twitch streaming bug has bitten me and i'm becoming addicted to that too, although Being a Nep Streamer is hard because it's difficult to get views becuase unless your into neptunia my channel would get overlooked (except for when I do my Nepflix and chill on sundays, that is doing really well)

Pretty dependent. I use it not just for a key socialising tool and all that jazz, but as part of my chronic health condition management because tools I use the internet to keep my health care team informed and allow me to keep a log on a cloud.

Alot so far as i use it to watch Netflix and play games online but there nothing like being in a raid and connection decides to cut out on you
