Trip up to Leeds to attend the Royal Armouries.

That's great. We go several times a year. Bonus news - there's a Con there 18th Feb 2023.

We might try and get to that.

However, this morning we went all the way up to Leeds on the 10.45 from Sheffield, arrived just under an hour later, went and checked my card in the cash machine to book a Taxi to the RA, there was 29p on me card! I was literally like, you what? I only got paid last week.

Fortunately I get paid from work on Friday, however I'll end up spending most of it on Taxi fares to Magna and back on Sunday, as Dad's Satnav failed when we went last week, so he can't get there.

I could get the X1 from Town but it'd take us all morning to get there.

Feeling much better after a day on the toilet yesterday.

#2 son has resumed at Uni today. Just got back from taking him to the station. Housework calls. Laundry to hang up. Hoovering and prepping dinner.

Been to collect a new 2nd skin Batman costume from Pond Street Post Office this morning, brought it back, tried to get into it, too tight and it's a large, I'm sorry but WTF?! I am NOT that fat.

What your plans for today

Well, tomorrow I start work clearing up and preparing to put up a new fence at the bottom of my garden. Got to knock down an old shed. Cut back my neighbour's tree and pull down the remains of the old fence.

Sunday I'm off to a Con.

You have to dig out old posts? Always sucks digging out concrete. Smashing up sheds is fun though

Was it you we saw at Magna this afternoon? Dressed as Obi Wan Kenobi? Good costume, a lot better than my effort the other week.

Regretfully, that was not me. I was in a Bleach Cosplay. All in black with a white sash, carrying my katana until the crowds thinned out.

My original plan this afternoon was to go and see the new George Clooney rom-com at the Odeon, so much for that, for some mad reason I checked my phone on the way out, messages from Uber demanding a pic of my card details, I went barmy, support worker Frogmarched me back home.
