I tried to buy Amanda the Adventurer on Steam last night, and it failed on both my Bank cards.

If I get paid this week, either from work (not happening) or the benefits (might/might not happen) I might invest in Amanda the Adventurer on Steam, especially now I know how to get non Linux versions to work in compatibility mode, I managed that with TemTem last week.

It's both.

I know I have no funds on my ready cash card (spending money account) till I get paid some time this week, but my other card fails on every site except Amazon, Moonpig and Xbox.com.

And both my PCs run on Linux (Penguin at the Flat, Ubuntu 22.04 here) and the majority of games on Steam are for Windows, I've managed to get some games to work on compatibility mode though.

Postage label for a pair of black Batman boots that arrived from China at Mum and Dad's on Wednesday.

International postage! Ouch! It'll not be cheap that! Especially when I'd have to send it recorded delivery with a tracking number because I don't trust Royal Mail to not lose expensive parcels as it's happened more than once before.

Maybe one day I'll stop buying stuff that ends up being no good in the flippin' first place.
