Beef Burger and chips and an Orange J2O for lunch in the Rawson Spring, a hot chocolate when we got back.

Oh don't you start! I wouldn't mind but back in the late 80s at secondary school, when I had to suffer from whatsherface in the "Unit", Mum had got a cob on about me having chips at lunch time every day, and told her, consequently I ended up having lunch in there, on what Planet is Sweetcorn and Cabbage a healthy lunch for a growing 12 year old (in 1988)?

My brother lived off chips and sausage for about 2 years. He's healthier than me!

If you're healthy and active, chips are a good source of carbohydrates, and the fat is readily converted to energy. If you're NOT active, that's a different story.

I can eat whatever and not gain weight or anything bad. I'm not that active. But I was really active in my teens-20's
