Spontaneous Minds on Paypal?

Post by Rich-Allen1976 » 23 Mar 2025, 11:52

Above.

Even though I cancelled the service last month, they still keep charging me £6 a week on Paypal.

I've just cancelled it again on Paypal, however I can virtually guarantee they'll charge me next week.

Is there anything I can do? I am aware of Google and Paypal is an American company.

I don't beee-lieve it!

Yes, you can unlink your credit/debit card from paypal or you can contact Paypal support with issues related to Paypal....

That might be a good idea, I don't think Paypal's essential for eBay any more.

Paypal support are a Foreign call centre, I hate talking to them because like the majority of non UK call centres they don't understand me.

Yeah, payment methods have gotten so much better by now that paypal has become rather superfluous. If anything it's another point of failure to add to a transaction.

If you gave them your CVC, you're screwed.

The only recourse is to order a new card (with a different CVC) and then reset ALL your Direct payments.

I discovered this when I got trapped in an Annual Payment to an Anti Virus add-on.

Well they've tried to charge me again, even though I cancelled the service through Paypal UK last week.

Methinks we need a trip to Le Bank to sort this as it's becoming annoying.

I've launched a case with Paypal UK against Spontaneous Minds, I just don't think they'll do anything.

Spontaneous Minds on Paypal?

I got an email this morning from Paypal UK, Spontaneous Mobile have tried to charge me again, it's only 1p but that's beside the point innit? I cancelled the ongoing payments last week.

And when I did the case against SM on Paypal last week, Paypal found in my favour and gave me the £6 back.

There IS a God.
I don't beee-lieve it!
