In a lot of ways I agree, social media itself does have a LOT of faults, mainly because stuff like Facebook and Twitter are hosted in the US, where under I think, the 2nd Amendment, they can pretty much say what they want to whom they want with no comeback, but the complete banning of it is completely unenforcable IMO.
There just needs to be stiffer penalties for Parents who can't control what little Jimmy's doing/saying online.
At the moment, the law says no one under 13 can have an account on Facebook without strict Parental supervision but they do anyway because the Parents think it keeps them quiet/off the streets.
Although IMO, social media actually CAUSES anti-social behaviour due to some of the stuff being posted, that's why I've deleted my accounts on both FB and Twitter due to the annoyingly toxic communities on both.
Discuss the contents of the link/thoughts?
