Because Paul has MND, and his life is becoming pretty much unbearable, he wants his partner, Billy, who is a man of the Cloth, to help him in assisted dying, which is obviously illegal in the UK!
I know it's a soap storyline but this does actually happen in real life, folk with terminal illness who want to end their own lives before they pass away naturally.
What are your thoughts on this? Or is it a bit too deep/controversial for a Tuesday evening?
