I did French and Spanish at school, but seeing as I've been to France a grand total of twice, and never spoke a word of French (most people on the Continent are fluent in English these days), and never been to Spain and probably never will, I forgot most of both.

Regarding UK regional dialects though, obviously I am fluent in broad Yorkshire, I am also fluent in Mancunian and Scouse.

I could also socialise with a Japanese person as I know hello and goodbye "Konichi Wa" and "Sayonara" respectively, and can count to 10 in Japanese, from way back when I used to be a Karate student "Ichi, Ni, San, Shi, Go, Ro, Shi, Hach, Ku, Ju"

And basic Korean from my TKD training.

Oh and intermediate Klingon lol, "Qapla!"

I've been learning Japanese for that last year. I'm at a basic level and can hold a basic conversation and things, which came in handy back in February when I went to Tokyo. It was good being able to walk into a sushi bar and order a meal without needing to ask for the English menu. I'm heading back to Tokyo next February and I'm hoping that my Japanese has improved enough that when I go out drinking in Shinjuku I won't need a translator.
