The teaser highlights the film's New York City setting by showing off one major scene set in a subway car. It's Halloween night, and nearly everyone in the crowded car is dressed in costume, including several who are dressed as Ghostface. As Sam looks on, one Ghostface in particular seems to have its eye on her.

Official trailer has been released.

The film, which is a direct follow-up to Scream 2022 and the sixth overall entry in the slasher franchise, will follow the core group of survivors from Scream 2022 (including Melissa Barrera as Sam Carpenter, Jenna Ortega as Tara Carpenter, Jasmine Savoy-Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin, and Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin) as a new Ghostface killer stalks them in New York City. Other returning cast members will include Courteney Cox as intrepid TV reporter Gale Weathers and Hayden Panettiere as Scream 4 fan-favorite Kirby Reed, who was previously presumed dead.
