Above.
How was the op? I'm strongly considering it myself, due to current hearing aid problems with the aid coming apart a lot.
I've worn hearing aids for about 38 years since August 1984 when I was about 8.
I spent most of last week Googling the subject, and have made enquiries (which I don't want Mum and Dad to know about, yet) up at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, as according my Googling they do the op up there.
I await a response from their internal checking to see if I'm eligible for it.
So anyway, has anyone else had one and how does it work OK?

So following emails this lunch time, I possibly have a referral to have it done up at the Hallamshire in mid to late November.
Now to work out how to tell Mum and Dad.

Well I've informed them today, well technically I didn't have to, Mum found the letter from the NHS about the phone call on Wednesday, they've both said they won't support me, so if the appointment for the Op comes up next month, I'll deal with it myself, including any out of Town trips to other Hospitals.
