Does anyone know a good preferably free website/domain name host that's UK based?

Rather than have half my site bogged down with advertising from a free host, I'm prepared to pay a small fee for hosting/domain name.

A few years ago I did have a site on Geocities, but after updating it weekly, to teach myself HTML, Geocities itself got closed down a few years back.

So anyway, without just telling me to scour Google, as I already have done, can anyone help?

Never mind, thanks to an ad on Facebook I found and signed up to names.co.uk for a free site.

My website, a bit naff at the moment but meh, I tried.

I did have a domain name and a very basic Photography website but the hosting expired last week, and I can't afford to renew it.
