Those could not be carried over unfortunately. You'll need to re-add friends.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice I've done a few improvements over the last 12 hours -

- Smilies are now enabled in quick-reply form
- Achievements are now added. This replaces awards and will be a lot easier to hand out by staff. You can read the achievements HERE. You can earn more than one for some such as awards - when you get more than 1 it simply shows a number next to it to denote how many.
- Viewing someone's profile has been neatened up substantially

Just wondering why you moved over to phpBB from vBulletin?

phpBB is kinda dated and I don't think the system is as sound as vBulletin. Although I think vB was superseded by Xenforo somewhat.

vB is very outdated and not mobile compatible whatsoever. It really is not sound if you look behind the code or the user-interface, indeed it's a bit of a trainwreck. This system is a lot better, but if you disagree that's of course your own opinion.

As for costs, we have no ongoing licensing costs with VB or phpbb (you can check the VB website to see this fact). The initial cost paid to VB was £250 about ten years ago. That was a one-off. If anything, the "cost" in terms of man-power to convert has been about 200 hours, or well in excess of £1,000 worth of costs there if you were to even convert that into minimum wage. So no, if anything we're doing the absolute opposite there, we're investing.:p

As far as I've been on forums comparing VB to phpbb there is a far superior difference. I find most forums don't use VB due to it being mobile unfriendly and outdated in itself. I've been more inclined to post while on my phone rather than desktop as it is so easy compared to before

To be fair, I'm of the opinion that everyone is entitled to theirs even if they're flat-out wrong.
