Above.
It's a Razr one that my Brother bought me about 2 years ago so it's probably out of warranty by now... I've had a look on Amazon for a replacement but the cheapest wired controller on there is £24.99 and currently my Parents have a massive cob on about my spending habits.
Would there be a cheap way to fix it?
I am in Sheffield, UK and they have Xbox controllers in North America, and I'm in the process of using Google.

I don't beee-lieve it!
Xbox wired controller no longer works
it depends entirely on what's wrong with it
it could be something simple, could be something complex
without more know-how on how to fix things like this, i would unfortunately advise against trying to fix it, because fixing it could involve a multimeter or even soldering

I managed to fix it, it's a wired controller and it was simply that the plug for the wire wasn't pushed in enough! D'oh!
Well I plugged the controller back in, and now it still doesn't work because it kept going off when I was trying to play a game last night, very annoying.
I just can't afford to replace it at the moment.
