Is Everspace on Steam compatible on Linux? (Penguin or Ubuntu 22.04)

I've just bought the Xbox version from Amazon yesterday, but Space shooters tend to be more playable on a PC, and I gather it's on Steam, which now works on both my Linux PCs, Penguin at the Flat, Ubuntu 22.04 here, yet I keep buying cheaper games on Steam that don't work for whatever reason, so I need to ensure this will work.

I am aware of Google and the Steam website.
