Warner Bros have announced that there will be a new standalone Quidditch game for PC and console as opposed to adding this as a Hogwarts Legacy DLC. What do we all think of this news? I wonder if there is anyone expecting this to be a standalone game

What we do know is that its a competitive multiplayer game with the option to play solo against AI too. It is available for PC and console and release date atm is tbc. There is, however, an opportunity to sign up for play tests which can be found here if anyone is interested in signing up:

I loved Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup when it was out so I'm hoping they will go for that similar vibe

Yes! That used to be one of my favourite games growing up so I'm very excited for this. I was always hoping for a Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup remastered version for a long time and I guess this is close enough!

Maybe we'll get some online play too? :O

I think that's the aim eventually, yeah. I believe I read somewhere it was gonna be a competitive game

I played the World Cup one on Game Cube. It was fun.
