Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo on Xbox - Problems

I received it from Game last week, installed it, and it won't load beyond the menu screen even though I've downloaded and installed several patches/updates.

My console's a Series X which was refurbished from MS about a month ago and everything else works, so it's not the console at fault.

I contacted Game.co.uk earlier but I don't think they'll do anything to be honest, as it installs so they'll just say it's a software issue like they did for DC League of Super Pets, that now works as of an update I downloaded a week last Friday ago.

Anyway, Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo, is there a way to get the thing to work? It won't let me log into my Xbox lIve account.

So having just Googled the creators, Pendulo Studios, based in France, I've sent them a message (in English) explaining the problems and that I've uninstalled/reinstalled it about 5 times and downloaded several large updates and it still doesn't work.

I await their response.
