Splatoon 3 - new record for sales.

Nintendo have announced that its' sales of Splatoon 3 have exceeded 3.45 million units in just 3 days, in Japan.

The count included both digital and physical sales and is the highest ever 3-day sales total for any Nintendo Switch Game.

The game launched September 9th.

The game centers on "Inklings," who are beings who can transform between human and squid form. The game pits players in a fight for territory as two teams fight to cover their battlefield with their respective paint colors.

I've heard a lot of people say they're shocked given Splatoon 2 didn't do too well, but I always thought Splatoon 3 would do better. 2 released when the switch was new and people were prioritising buying Mario/Zelda/Animal Crossing
