Not quite!
As it hits it's seventh anniversary, Blizzard has announced that it is winding down development on it's MOBA to focus on "client sustainability and bug fixing", and that the game would now be treated in a manner "similar to our other long-standing games." There will be seasonal rolls and hero rotations, but there are no plans for new "for-purchase content to be added."
Back in 2018, Blizzard shrunk the games team, and cancelled all esport events. Word is that staff have been moved around in order to ensure the spectacular return of the annual BlizzCon event after the online events of the Covid Pandemic, and this years complete cancelation due to allegations of staff misconduct and toxic company culture.
