Java or bedrock?

Post by Ojisama » 07 Jun 2022, 20:52

Well, it doesn't matter any more.

We are talking Minecraft of course. For years players have argued which version is better. Mojang's Java based original, or Microsoft's Bedrock based version. It hinges around the fact that the Java version is easier to modd.

Now, Mojang and Microsoft have joined hands and agreed that whatever version you buy, you will get the other FREE.

This is also being applied retroactively and the alternate version will automatically be downloaded the next time players go online.

So...enjoy.

Java or bedrock?

Post by LikkleMel » 07 Jun 2022, 21:06

I bought both well one on my PlayStation (Bedrock) which is where I started and Java on PC to join other people's servers and to help on the AL one. I'll be honest I am still no idea a master at java.

I just prefer bedrock because I can play on my PlayStation. I'm trying to be more of a PC user but I like my PlayStation I like sitting on my bed or coach playing with my controller than worrying about my posture at the PC haha XD

I know you can do more on Java, but I just want to chill and create stuff I'm not too fussed about survival or SMP etc

Java or bedrock?

I’ve always preferred Java just because I prefer pc controls. But there’s not a massive difference for me as I only play casually

I have always prefered java but that's because i don't really enjoy vanilla minecraft and prefer to use mods to make it a more enjoyable experience for myself
