Final Fantasy XVI Trailers

Aiming for a release in the summer of 2023, the development of the game is supposedly nearly complete.

The only question now is...what platforms? An earlier livestream had suggested that there would be a PC release, but the word now is that it will be a PS 5 Exclusive.

This follows a trailer from a year ago entitled "Awakening"

Still no word on any other platform other PS5, so it looks like it will be a Playstation exclusive.

Well given that the last good Final Fantasy game I played was Mystic Quest on the Gameboy nearly 30 years ago, I don't actually care lol.

Another drop at the Game Awards.

Release confirmed as June 22 2023, and it WILL be a PS5 EXCLUSIVE until December 31 2023.

Latest news on FFXVI is a 25 minute "State of Play" video from the Producer Naoki Yoshida. In it he explains the game's story, combat, adventuring, and Eikon fight mechanics, all set to gameplay footage.

there is also a short teaser featuring the game's theme tune - Moongazing

PC release confirmed for September 17, via STEAM and EPIC GAME STORE.
