Starfield. Getting closer? (Updated release date)

Post by Ojisama » 05 May 2022, 18:43

Starfield may well be the most hotly anticipated game of 2022, with a release date of 11th November.

Nope! Sorry. Make that sometime in the first half of 2023. Bethesda haven't released any reason for the delay, just the usual guff ‘The developers have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them.’ The other anticipated release Redfall has also been delayed.

To keep gamers in the loop, Bethesda has been releasing a series of videos about the artistic processes involved in the game.

From concept art and worldbuilding, to sound effects and music, these short glimpses of the level of imagination and creative care injected into "Starfield" for the utmost realism and immersion offer a fascinating behind-the-scenes odyssey.

I will be gathering these videos together, along with official trailers, here in this topic thread.

It may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I hope you enjoy them.

Starfield. Getting closer? (Updated release date)

September 6th apparently.

Looking forward to it, I'm sure it'll be grreat! (To quote Tony the Tiger!)

I'm sure there'll be hordes of Sony fans crying into their PS VR headsets about it being Xbox and PC exclusive though.

Just buy a PC powerful enough to run it!
"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" (Michael Palin in Monty Python's "Life of Brian")
"I am speaking UK English in a Sheffield accent!" (Me most of the time I'm on the landline or mobile)
