PS App has more options now?

Using a Chromebook I only used to see the controller icon at the bottom of the app and one other icon but now I see 5 icons on the bottom. Was everyone able to see that many icons (or just more than the 2 I only saw) before and it was just not really compatible with viewing from Chrome OS or did they actually add more icons on the bottom of the app? With a lot of apps on Chromebook though it seems like the view defaults to what it would look like on mobile, with the left and right sides not being displayed in the app. I took a screenshot of the screen which is how some apps have that mobile look to them anyway. But the question I'm asking is were those icons on the bottom (controller, search, etc.) always there or are more there now and I'm able to see them because of a fixed display issue with the app? (Fixed the image so it doesn't show anybody that potentially doesn't want to be shown just in case)
