Personal Favourite: Doom Eternal
My prediction: Hades or The Last of Us Part 2

My actual favourite game of 2020 has to be Ori and the Will of the Wisps but eh Whatya gonna do?

honestly i'm kind of rooting for tlou2 just because there are so many people salty about how that story ended up and i want them to seethe

I know i'm biased but I really hope AC gets it, it really has revived the franchise and it's amazing seeing just how widespread it is

I think that's fair it feels like the game of 2020 not being able to see friends n all. At least you could in AC...

However, looking at the critics I think TLOU2 or Hades might take it

I think Ghost of Tsushima will win it. I haven't played it yet but there's less drama around it than TLoU2. the latter would make social Media a lot more interesting though

Oh man I forgot about all the controversy with tlou2! Feels like forever ago.
Has Hades had any negativity? Cause I know that's quite popular right now

I haven't seen anything on hades myself, so I can't really comment on it TBH

Animal Crossing is good though I don't think it should win best multiplayer considering the Nintendo Switch Network is terrible most of the time.

I just want Ori to win best art direction. It's such a beautiful game!

My guess is it'll be either Hades, Ghost of Tsushima, or Animal Crossing.
Next tier would be Doom Eternal and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Then TLOU goes last for me.

Of those I've only played Hades which I think is amazing, so I hope that wins.
I hope TLOU doesn't really get a proper mention and fizzles out into nothingness.

Just dont post your views on TLOUS2 winning the game awards on twitter, you will get a angry mob after you (thats how bad twitter has become now)

I only have played Doom Ethernal on that list so I can't say anything. I would say Ghost of Tsushima would win as there has been alot of postive comments on the game and how the game looks almost like a next gen game, even tho it is on last gen, PS4

I believe Hades is made by the same people that made Bastion if you have ever heard of that. I haven't got Hades yet but hope to at some point but those guys did a great job with Bastion imo so I kind of half expect Hades to be good as well

I reckon its between Last of Us Part 2 or Ghost of Tsushima. Havent played either of them but I know plenty of people who have and loved them
