Opinions on cex?

Cex is good for not selling loose things. For example some people try and sell games online with just the disc or the cartridge (I'm talking about wii and ds games here) like how do you lose the case .

Bunch of rip off bastards when it comes to games. DVD's/Blu Rays are reasonable but I've seen brand new games on Amazon that are cheaper than their pre owned.

i love Cex! the shop in Wolverhampton used to stock old PS1 games and they had rarities such as the non-platinum version of the Final Fantasy games, Legend of Dragoon and Rival Schools (AMAZING game, can't stress that enough!) but they stopped selling them, just as I was building up a very respectable collection ;__; i haven't been to Cex in a few months however, i miss it bad D:

Don't know if I said this already but the one in Bilston had a PS1 (the original box shape) and was selling it for £40 comparing prices on ebay which can be up to £100 that was an amazing find!

For me personally I keep my games in wallets and cases and get rid of the cases. I'm not planning on selling my games, and if I had room I'd love to have the cases displayed but I can understand why some wouldn't have them.

They are taking advantage of the next gen supply issues though. Selling second hand PS5 and Series X way above retail value.

is it just me or does every Cex store stink like weeaboo/gamer sweat? D: i mean i understand that it is kinda warm outdoors but they should really keep fresh - and no, it's not me, as i showered not even an hour before visiting Cex (the one in Walsall btw, but they're all just as bad!) :c

Unfortunately that's capitalism. They buy them above retail so they are going to want to make a profit. Sucks that the scalpers are the ones getting the rewards though. They are who you should be angry at.
