"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.
Played a few throughout my 'gaming career' but have to admit, definitely not my go to genre but then it's the same for film and TV. Just doesn't really do anything for me and I don't tend to enjoy them.
I've played most of the resi evil games, I remember Dino Crisis on PS1 scaring the crap out of me... then there was Dead Space on PS3... but yeah... definitely not my go to ;p
I played mostly resident evil games and silent hill. Silent Hill was creepy as hell, and I really didn't like being chased that one time where I had to get to end and had to it multiple times. The music was eary as well and the faceless nurses creeped me out and them standing still was like okay when's the ball gonna drop now.
I loved playing Amnesia and Soma! Albeit, I'm not very good at horror games, I love giggling when I get caught up in a particularly bad jump scare and I jump super hard xD although playing horrors just makes me jump at every little noise imaginable D:
