i've been playing again lately after playing from launch and dropping it for years

things i've noticed:

-fishing is much easier to start, fishing used to be hell to do and i'd fail every cast for a while till i got to like level 3 or 4
-the community center is still the world's biggest grind and i need my greenhouse so i can mass plant cranberries and become godqueen and buy joja (not really possible but i like to imagine)
-skills might go up faster? i'm just about done with spring of first year and my farming's already at 4
-I CAN'T PICK UP MY CAT

it's a good thing to work towards, it's just stressful if you want to get it done in 1 - 2 years

if you do it at a leisure, it's easy and fun

if you crunch time it, you start to realize that certain fish don't exist and certain crops won't ever gold star

I *would* have had it done in 3 years if I had known there was a foragable in the secret woods and that animals were actually profitable lol, in winter year 2 I only needed a rabbits foot, a truffle and a fiddlehead fern D:

So Stardew Valley is on sale on Nintendo eShop. Now I own this game on THREE platforms. What is wrong with me?

We own it on Switch TWICE cos we own 3 Switch consoles and can't let my son play it without buying it for him too. Soooo... does that mean I own it 4 times?

Tempted to get this game. I need something simple and fun to play in between the intense RPGs and Looter Shooters I usually play.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Fishing is easier, but still bloody annoying.

I've actually found the CC somewhat easier, infact I unlocked the minecart lastnight and I've NEVER unlocked anything from the CC before :o I need just 1 more item for the quarry. I'm fairly close to unlocking the Greenhouse and once Winter is over I'll be throwing money in to the Vault again.

Yeah I feel skills are easier now. I'm level 8 in mining and level 6 in farming. Year 1 isn't even over for me yet, I'm in Winter on day 17. I also have a big barn, I never had one of those! And I have goats... I've gotten as far as owning ONE cow in the past. I was so glad when I got my second cow XD
