Awesome! Thank you for sharing this Buta :) I'd definitely be keen to pay a visit once it's up and running. It's about time the UK had something different!! :)

Agreed :( I've been using Buyee recently and whilst I am able to buy the product(s) relatively inexpensively, the shipping costs are usually more than what I paid for the item in the first place! I'm sure we will eventually get dedicated stores in the UK as the demand for them continues to grow :)

We definitely could do with more of these though and not just in London; I'm sure there is more than enough demand for it all over the UK!

I’m going at some point!

Top priority!

And I agree, I don’t see why they just don’t make it permanent. I mean you can’t tell me they won’t make a ton of money from this store.

Plus think of all the online merch revenue they’d make too, for people ordering online

I tend to use Pokevault and Goods Republic for mine. Both are really good- and not been hit once yet with import charges

I've not used either of these before but will take a look - thanks for the tip! :D I'm tired of paying customs charges - they don't even make sense! 1 out of 10 parcels from Japan will have a random custom charge slapped on it! It would make sense if it was consistent but I've had them slapped randomly on all manner of items at all sorts of costs. Most of my stuff comes through without any additional charges but yeah... customs can do one

Yeah it is really weird how they do it!

I mean, some items from eBay have come through custom free, then others not...strange as hell.

But yeah, give them a go. I haven't had any custom problems with these two sites. I mean I have used Pokevault a lot lately for the trainer campaign that came out recently. Pokevault is the place to go if you want latest releases.

Goodsrepublic is more like a second hand shop, a bit like eBay, but the goods that I have ordered off there have all been like new. :-) If you don't mind waiting, be sure to check them out.

As I'm not the biggest Pokemon fan what do you usually find in a Pokemon Centre? I may get a Pokemon Plushie if they do those :)

Well the one in Japan- has a wide range of stuff from the standard stationary, cups etc...but if it’s plushies your after - then you’ll be thrilled. The ones in Japan from what I’ve seen, are wall to wall of them
