Personally, i never rage quit....i always refuse to, i have a nast habbit that if a game makes me rage, it makes me play harder and i push more to finish it.

I will admit when i first played Dark souls, i found it a bit brutal..I didn't make me go into gamerrage but i forced me to play smarter.. I have a nasty habbit of running in guns blazing in a sense. It forced me to slow down and think more. I completed 5 - 6 times on new game plus.

Prince of Persia on DOS. It might have been cause I was so young, but that took me a rather long time to beat... mainly cause for the first 2 months I didn't have the instruction manual so I didn't know the correct codes to beat the anti-cheat system. Basically after the first level it asked you to refer to the manual and drink the right potion. So it was just luck if I got to level 2 or not. Only after complaining about it to some strangers, one of them faxed me their manual. I did beat it like 2 months after.

More so the later, I don't greatly enjoy shmups but I loved the concept of it, at least.

Atleast you haven't given up on it and i'm sure you will kick the games ass and be victorious.

One thing i found hard.. not entirely the game but call of duty 4 modern warfare... the mile high club achievement and the "Best of the Best" achievements had me replaying the same levels over and over and over for hours on end.

Most heartbreaking... was i completed the mile high club and before the achievement popped, the game crashed and it's one of those missions on veteran where everything just has to go perfect. So i had to do it again.

I was proud so i recorded both of the achievements. Still love rewatching them like "Yass i did it".

Especially when you spent hours on it and you finally think it's over... just to have it go "Nope bitch, do it again".

Theif I've not played a lot, got annoyed when I could figure out things, but the worst so far is...Bloodbourne so far it's rather creepy and I try to say away from ceratain things. I'm only in the beginner where that roaring fire is and I almost ran down a different area where a dude that looked like a butcher is and I was like hell no i'll die.

Ninja Gaiden was crazy difficult managed to complete it once but the second playthrough was a bit much lol. Dark Souls was way confusing and seriously hard but I did enjoy it, I never completed it as I got distracted by easier games

The only game I've ever been tempted to rage quit on is Hollow Knight xD
There is an area of that game that is AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE FOR ME (but it's completely optional)
So far I've 105%/112% the game.
