Suikoden was the best ongoing game series. Sadly it isn't like any more will be made.

FFVII is probably the best Final Fantasy game out of all of them to date.

Witcher III was a disappointing game.

The Mass Effect games are all good, including the last one and we need more of them.

because of all the hype I was expecting to play one of he best rpg games out there with a great combat mechanic. I got bored a few hours into playing it and didn't see what was so special about any element of the game I encountered, never went back to it.

I started it and the story seemed like it might be interesting. However, the combat system felt clunky and difficult to use. Never tried combat, I didn’t get that far. In the end the story didn’t seem interesting enough for me to pursue it.

Perhaps the beginning sucks and it gets better

You may as well just endure the pain of playing Growlanser 1 and 6 with the fan translations if you really want to play them, because they're probably not ever getting localized/ROMhacked at this point.

Though I hope someone from Nintendo, considering the Switch's success, makes a decision.

Not sure if this necessarily an unpopular opinion, but I feel that GameFreak should pass the Pokemon series onto someone else, as the last few entries in the franchise have been lacklustre, and the whole recent controversy proves to me that they have lost all enthusiasm for the franchise.

I agree. But then again- they know they have a winner - because they know people will buy the games regardless- so I can’t see them giving away this franchise anytime soon
