Beep boop it's been a while. While I was away I managed to get Raymond on my island! A great addition for my cat island!

Also just started a new island two days ago! It got to a stage where I wasn't really happy with aspects of my island layout, didn't like the villagers I'd ended up with, and it felt a bit like a chore.

I've got a new island with a better default layout now, and I've got Cherry who's adorable. Only on day three (so just built Nook's Cranny today, but waiting on Blathers to re-open) and it's still a fun game – I actually think it works best when you have certain constraints and tangible goals (30 iron ore for example) than when it's just the lottery of the shop plus daily chores

Lol when I logged back on a few week ago it was the first time I went back in about 3 months it said. One wanted to leave that day which worked out fine because I want to get rid of a couple more for my cat village XD

I think i'm gonna start playing this again this month. Need a nice relaxing game for in bed and I need to just suck it up and skip the 2 years I missed lol
