Kawahara and Futami has hinted that Alicization Lycoris is the last game as part of the storyline. Kawahara wants Strea to become part of the Light Novel universe.

While I don't really like the idea of the early part following the Light Novel story, I am interested to see how they will handle the latter stage, and how they will handle Medina and what they have planned for the other gameverse original characters. This is supposed to be the last game to be part of this storyline, so it needs to go out with a bang. it's a shame it got delayed but I don't think the Coronavirus issue was the main problem or at least, it wasn't entirely the health concerns, given that the game was practically supposed to go gold this week. they were concerned about the lack of certain kinds of content, and generally worried about the physical copies struggling to sell, I believe.

It is indeed a good game

I've put many many hours in to it and it still never gets old

I might actually return it to again after Sniper Elite 4 as still have plenty to do and now have all the DLC

Steam has all the SAO games on sale for 75% off until friday at 6pm if anyone is interested in picking them up

Fatal Bullet Complete collection or Hollow Realization would be the best ones to pick up

I'll always swear by Hollow Realization. The PC bugs aside, at £10, for all the content you're getting, you're practically robbing Bandai Namco in broad daylight. Re: Hollow Fragment and Lost Song at £4 each is hard to say no to as well. Then Accel World vs Sword Art Online at £10 isn't too bad either. Fatal Bullet Complete edition at less than £20 might just about be worth it IMO.

They also announced that Lisbeth, Silica and Leafa is playable I believe
