I'm still in the middle of recording it, so no spoilitos! I'm right in the middle of island 4.
No worries from me, i'm only 90 minutes in i'm still on the first island XDOverlord Kujo wrote: ↑30 Dec 2022, 22:11I'm still in the middle of recording it, so no spoilitos! I'm right in the middle of island 4.
Funny, I also followed up SADX with SA2B. I wish 2 wasn't such a weak-quel. Less of like... everything when compared to SA1. SA1 lasted me 16 episodes, while SA2 lasted only 12. Thats over an hour and a half shorter than the og game.GingerbreadMellody wrote: ↑19 Apr 2022, 09:00Overdue update oops
He beat SADX no problem, only a couple of deaths here and there and I did have to give him a hint on how to beat Zero
Since then we’ve also beat SA2B, only frustrating bits for him were egg golem (sonic version) until he learned the attack cycle, cannons core (i mean who doesn’t get frustrated with that) and biolizard
Ironically it took him 20 minutes to beat biolizard but he did finalhazard on his first try
Wow, that’s crazy to hear! SA1 I can beat in 6 hours but SA2 takes me at least double thatOverlord Kujo wrote: ↑03 Jan 2023, 23:53Funny, I also followed up SADX with SA2B. Hard disagree. There's less variety in gameplay - no Amy, no Big, etc., but frankly I don't think they're a big loss. I do miss the hub worlds though. But generally, SA2 is a lot more streamlined with more focus on the levels themselves. The controls are much tighter and the levels are much more open than you might think, hosting 5 missions each as well. The chao world is also more refined and complex. I've not yet gone back to finish SADX 100%, but SA2 100% was an absolute joy to finish. SA2 may also seem shorter story-wise as they just go straight from level to level, there's no hub world navigation like in SA1.GraceMellody wrote: ↑04 Jan 2023, 09:57Wow, that’s crazy to hear! I definitely do prefer the variety of gameplay in 1, the fact it's basically 3 in SA2 does feel like a step backwards. Although I think it's the fact there's so many more levels that makes it take a lot longer to complete for me. SA1 I can basically autopilot but SA2 I do find myself forgetting shortcuts because of just how many levels there areJezo wrote: ↑13 Apr 2023, 10:32Hard disagree.
