Well it's more because of DW9 that I'm on the XBOX more right now, I do try and play both equally, but I've been glued on DW9 XD

Haha! Nicely done! Truth be told, I never really go in to the DW series properly but then the last time I played one would have been a good number of years ago. I think I have a copy somewhere on my 360. Might fire it up again

What draws you in to them? What hooks you?

The characters because they all have such beautiful outfits and they have such a range of personalities

Also I just love the whole story of the three kingdoms, I find the history of it so interesting

Fair enough I may well have to get on it then. Are the games progressive or are they individual stories, etc?

No they tell the same story, they just add things to it along with the new characters they add

I was playing Theif again and I'm getting better to not getting cought but throwing the bottle for some reason I don't think it wants me to do that.

I made another CaC; a female Saiyan. It's difficult to work a female Majin's combos into a Super Attack, but easier to do with a female Saiyan. I'm not sure about a male Saiyan though, since I'm inclined to not play as one because of their low Super Attack stats. Here's my Saiyan:




I'm turning her into a Ki Blast specialist, with points added into Basic Attack for more offense.

It wasn't always like that with DW games. They used to play the same with whatever character you chose. Though 3 was all about mowing the armies down with elephants. Each game after introduced something new though. DW4 let you choose which campaigns you wanted to undertake in story mode. DW5 started sticking more to character's own paths, then the empire series let you creat your own stories as you conquered China under one faction of your choice. Also enjoyed the Warriors Orochi series which introduced three-member team gameplay to their story modes.

I think DW6 was the only one I couldn't stick with (and the only set of achievements I didn't collect). Nice environments, great story, but the signature attacks weren't there. Just didn't feel like classic Warriors.

[mention=73014]MakiChan[/mention] are you a fan of the Romance of The Three Kingdoms story the games are based on then? A great book series. Also the Romance games, Kessen 2 and there was Red Cliff at the movies. Amazing how some of China's greatest history could live on today in such away compared to other countries. Though you did get Samurai Warriors for Feudal Japan, Bladestorm for The Hundred Years War and Warriors of Troy. None have had the lasting power that China has had though.

Yeah I love the whole story of the Romance Of The Three Kingdoms, I've even watched animes that are based on it, like Ikki Tousen

Yeah I do agree, the older ones were a bit different in how you did the stories, it wasn't until like 7 I believe when they had the one story for each kingdom where you used the different characters through it, although I did like in 8 when you had the hypothetical endings. Yeah I actually got all the achievements on 6, as much as it was just full of clones and persevered and managed to do every level on Chaos, which wasn't fun, especially Lu Bu's levels >.>

I also love Samurai Warriors as well and the story behind that, even though I don't agree with how the battle of Sekigahara ended, I love Mitsunari over Tokugawa. I think it deserves more and I'm waiting for a SW5 as I loved 4

I also loved Bladestorm, I thought it was unique and I loved the way the battles went

I'm still on DW9, currently doing Xiahou Dun's story cos why not, and have got the 100,000 KO's achievement finally XD

Although I'm currently downloading the DMC HD Collection on my XBOX, so may take some time out on DW9 to play that
