Games we love from Japan

Post by an1mey123 » 30 Jun 2017, 10:23

Japan had contributed a lot in each person’s childhood, today. From anime, manga, and games we all had the chance to immerse in Japanese culture through these products. Japanese games, in particular, had been a part of each family’s entertainment set.

There is also a fighting game in this list and that is Tekken. Players select a character to fight against the opponent. It also has a storyline wherein the player joins the King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Oh! I remember this game from the 360 and PS3! I got quite far in it but got a little lost and haven't really played it since. I really should return to it :) I'd most likely have to start again though as I don't really remember the story or plot now :( I remember something about collecting sheets of music but that's about it! Haha

In that case, I shall look it out when I get home. I know I had it on the 360 so here's hoping it's still in amongst the collection some where. Did anyone here play 'Enchanted Arms'? Also released on 360 and PS3. That was a bit of a strange game but interesting battle mechanics :)

My favorites are a toss up between the Zero Escape trilogy, and anything Persona. Valkyria Chronicles was also amazing, Fire Emblem Awakening. There's really too many awesome ones to list.

A called Tekken was popular among people around the earth that even unto this generation it was enjoyed by kids. Tekken experienced many sequels: Tekken, Tekken 2, Tekken 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 4, Tekken 5, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Tekken six, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Tekken 7. Each follows up had new characters and had different masters at the end of the story mode of every Tekken character. Pokemon, Final Fantasy, and Zelda are one of those...

^ I've heard nothing but good things. I had it forever but never played it. It's definitely a hard title to come across in stores!

The Neptunia games are my favourite JRPGs. For fighting games, I'd say BlazBlue.
Most games I like aren't made in Japan, though.

Legend of Zelda. This game follows the adventures of Link as he embarks on an adventure to save the Kingdom of Hyrule from Ganon and rescue Princess Zelda. The game is not all about fighting and it also has puzzles and other tasks to be completed... :)
