I still feel video game narratives are a maturing artform and we haven't really scratched the surface yet. A lot of what is done is aping cinema or writing and using their tricks rather than using mechanics or gameplay to tell a story. It'll get there though.

I believe it is a maturing art form but one that has changed because of advances, and the advances are occurring faster than game storytellers can adapt.

As far as I'm concerned, games have never been better than they are now... but then, I prefer PvP to single player, so of course I think that. The truth is, one player games can't possibly compete with the likes of LoL, Dota 2, TF2 & Overwatch when it comes to making money, despite them costing far more to produce. If you want a good story then you might just have to resort to indie games...

Time to revive this lounge! Not sure why it's dead. This couch is quite comfy! :p

So lately I've been breeding shinies in Pokemon Moon and replaying Conquest route of Fire Emblem Fates ( I own all three routes)

Aside from that, I've mainly been reading Visual Novels because they are my passion!

I've been trying to restore my mistake I made in Animal Crossing... xP
And finding more add-ons to Left 4 Dead 2 before the best friend comes back and we can play.

I've never really been able to get into Animal Crossing. What kind of mistake did you make?

Oh I love Animal Crossing since th GameCube!

I never played the Gamecube one. Played the others though.
