What is everyone's views on VR gaming? Personally I thought it was just a gimmick until I bought a quest 2 during the black friday sales. Now I'm convinced it's the future of gaming.

Is this where I get hissed at and end up running off?

I still largely view VR as a gimmick

The market is still young and the entry price is heavy especially considering your initial entry price (PC/PS4/whatevs) is there on top of the VR system price. I'm sure better VR systems are more than worth it, if I ever get one it'll be one like the VIVE with hand accessories

My exact thoughts prior to black friday.

I dont know how the Quest 2 does it for like half the price of a new xbox or playstation. But it works so well. I mean you can kinda tell from the older games but now I'd much rather look like a dork pretending to shoot a gun than using a controller/mouse and keyboard.

Biggest surprise for me was bigscreen. It has a cinema screen dedicated to TNG.

It's the go to game. Funnily enough I have the demo and didn't think much of it. It seems a little too obvious of a workout. I'd much rather flail my arms at a bunch of zombies xD

It is crazy much the quest holds it's value.

Okay, I have plans for a project, but I honestly don't know if there is any audience for it. Are there any fans of Shenmue 1? I've got like... let's play plans, but I don't wanna devote the huge time commitment to something purely indulgent. Basically... just curious if anybody is interested in a full playthrough of that game, or probably... nah?

I have Quest 2 and it handles brilliantly. It's cordless, which means you can actually turn and move without any problems.

Told myself I'll wind down when I do the league in Brilliant Diamond, end up messing around in the grand underground to try and do as much of the national dex as I can. RIP game queue

Grand Underground has been good throwing different pokemon at me so far, but as the dex fills it's going to get rougher to pin point what is needed. I guess the statues will help.
