Yeah, I ha e only 100 so I got a whole to go. The three legendary birds just dont wanna get cought. Seriously pain in the but. There pretty cool though.

I have sword but havent played a lot of it. I also never fully understood this red/blue, x/y stuff- Are they separate stories or is just different starting pokemeon?

For most of them it's the same story (although in a couple you do have it from two different perspectives) the starters are the same in each (except yellow and the lets go games), but certain Pokémon are version exclusive, so have to be traded to complete your Pokédex. The final difference is the legendary that you get to capture is different between the versions (shield has Zamazenta for example and sword has sif the great grey wolf)

Finally completed the main story in Shield. Now to work on Dec before heading to Armour and Tundra!

Yeah working on the DeX as well. I've done some breeding while running around collecting poke.on so the eggs hatch pretty easily.

Unlocked the isle of armour today, only had time to catch a few Pokémon though
