I have seen a someone stream it on Twitch and it looks really nice i am a bit worried that there isnt enough repeatability compared to any of the pokemon games. I already know someone that has completed the story, so its more of a question of how easy is it to complete the photodex and can you complete in a few hours then thats it?

The story was never the big thing in the original game either, the story is purposely short but the main point of the game is to keep going back through areas, repeating them to increase the area level, which makes new things happen. The photodex itself, and getting platinum stars on all different star categories will be a lot harder to complete than the story

I love it. Beat the game already and am just trying to get through all of the levels. Some of them are actually REALLY REALLY hard. There also some things that happen that are PURE CHANCE. like some things you cant even trigger you just have to go with it.

Yeah, I'm at the same point. I maxed the research level on the first level at night and I'm still trying to get more better photos. Got some legendaries though! Shaymin, Ho-Oh, and Mew

So i decided to pick it up and give it a go last night. I'm not sure if I'm in love with it yet but I like it and will play it some more and see if it clicks. I think I might need to use motion control more as the stick navigation feels a bit awkward which I think isn't helping.
