Citizen wrote:Anyone else doing the fishing tournament? I was kinda hoping you would have to actually out-fish the other villagers. So far my record is 10 with fish bait and 7 without.

Also it's hilarious that they didn't even stop water eggs from spawning while you're doing the fishing tournament. Seriously, did Nintendo just have an intern design the Bunny Day event?

The new tourney format is.. interesting.

I definitely didn’t have the patience to go for 300 points with the eggs still spawning (and I hadn’t stocked up on fish bait) but now that I know the gist I’ll prepare for the summer one :)

I didn't have dicks to do on Saturday anyway so I ground out the 300 points. Took about 2.5 hours. Got all the different fish swag items thankfully. Max no-bait was 8 a few times.

I'll probably just ignore all future ones if they don't have different prizes/trophies.

I wish you weren't limited to 8 ramps. There's one more spot I want to put one and it's pissing me off.

As far as i'm aware prizes are the same, so in future it'll probably just be a good way to make some money that day.

Also can I just say I only realised yesterday just how many special characters are missing in this game! Pelly, Phyllis, Pete, Gracie, Blanca, Copper and Booker, Shrunk, Harriet, Katie.. i'm probably missing a bunch more too! I hope some old faces will be added back in future updates, even if it's just as visitors to the town

I've not bothered keeping ahead of the news on what's coming and who's coming back later or whatever. KK turned up this week so I'm on island designer now, although I think the way you use it is crap. Everytime I want to round off a wall or a section of river, I end up filling in the river or knocking down the whole cliff. Surely Nintendo could make it less of a hit and kiss process?

I do wish that the path tool specifically was a bit easier. I wish you could just hold the button and keep walking, it’s annoying placing every spot individually

I'd just be happy with a little square that highlights which square tile you will be modifying. And for Paths, being able to do a line would be useful.

Oh god yeah an indicator would make such a massive difference, the amount of times i've selected the wrong tile is insane

Huh? The price can be predicted/manipulated?

Neat.

I wish I remembered any of that info to use it. I bought a million dollars worth of turnips on Sunday and have just been hoping for a good price.
